ALDI aficionados, it’s time to assemble! ALDI’s customer voted awards, The People’s Picks, are BACK!! The annual awards allow ALDI devotees to curate the ultimate ALDI shopping haul, with shoppers casting their ballots for their favourite products across eight Good Different categories.
From Wednesday 16 July, customers can officially have their say by submitting their top picks via The People’s Picks voting platform. If shaping the nation’s favourite shopping list isn’t enough of an incentive to get voting, each shopper who casts their vote across all eight categories goes in a draw to win a $1,000 ALDI gift card (10 are up for grabs) for their next ALDI shopping spree!
Last year, The People’s Picks saw over a whopping 312,000 votes from Aussies who clearly LOVED their chance to have their say on which products received a gong. This year’s competition is set to be even fiercer, with viral sensations like the Sweet Haven Portuguese Tarts and the Choceur Peanut Butter Chocolate Block going head-to-head for the title of Best Newcomer.
While summertime staples like the Ready, Set… Cook! Wagyu Beef Burgers and Free Range Marinated Chicken Wings are battling it out for king of the grill in The BBQ Boss category. Shoppers will again this year have the chance to vote for their champion of champions, with Certified Gold contenders like the internationally recognised Lazzio Luxe Coffee Beans and 5-star Jindarra Station Beef Porterhouse Steak duking it out for top top spot.
ALDI Australia’s Shopping Expert, Kylie Warnke, says: “The People’s Picks Awards are not only for seasoned ALDI shoppers, it’s like a ‘cheat sheet’ for new customers to ALDI’s most amazing products. These awards are a celebration of our ALDI community’s top picks, and every vote helps uncover the standout stars of our exclusive 1,800 core range of products.

With over 500 award-winning products in the ALDI range, the supermarket has narrowed down the list to just 80 standout products from just $1.29 that regular shoppers and newcomers should add to their next grocery list.

By submitting their top picks in the eight categories, voters will automatically go into the draw to win a share of $10,000 worth of ALDI gift cards (10 x $1,000 ALDI gift cards up for grabs).
All will be revealed in August, when the winning products from each category are revealed.
